Necessities

Toilets at both Okaihau, Snows Farm and Māngungu Mission. Snows Farm toilet is 12 Km from ~Okaihau or 16 kms from Horeke.

We recommend cycling to the west coast 45 km , generally downhill on an excellent track with pick up at the mission house where the Waitangi Treaty was signed.2 great food stops on the way! We were a group of 4 who hired ebikes from Top Trail Cycle Hire to independently bike the Twin Coast trail over 2 days. We stayed one night in Kaikohe and biked towards Kawakawa the first day and The Mission on the second. Tipene and Top Trails provided us with great bikes, a very efficient shuttle service and an informative and enjoyable commentary before we set out each day. Booking was easy. We have no trouble in highly recommending Top Trail Cycle Hire.

We really enjoyed our recent 2 day bike with your team. In our 70's and our first use of E bikes. They were great, well provided by Tipene and shuttles waiting for us as arranged. The journey was varied taking us into the lesser populated west coast plus the vintage train on the east coast. Highly recommended.
