Another excellent day thanks to Top Trail! The day we had originally booked was going to be very wet so we phoned to see if we could change the date. Shelley made it real easy, no trouble at all. On the day we arrived in Kaikohe it was belting down but by the time Tipene had sorted our bikes and all the problems in the world with a great sense of humor it was dry and we were on our way for yet another great cycle experience through the backblocks of rural northland. 5 Stars! All the staff were really awesome and accommodating - from making the booking, getting set up and the shuttle home. They all made sure you had a great ride. Tipene especially made sure our bikes were well set for a comfortable, fun ride. The trail from kaikohe to Horeke was awesome - a tunnel, forest trails and you finish with a beautiful boardwalk. I would highly recommend doing the Twin Coast trail and using Top Trail for your ride.

5 stars! A fantastic local business. Great trips offered. Bikes and e-bikes well maintained and staff knowledgeable. We recommend cycling to the west coast 45 km , generally downhill on an excellent track with pick up at the mission house where the Waitangi Treaty was signed.2 great food stops on the way! We highly recommended these guys!

We were a group of 4 who hired ebikes from Top Trail Cycle Hire to independently bike the Twin Coast trail over 2 days. We stayed one night in Kaikohe and biked towards Kawakawa the first day and The Mission on the second. Tipene and Top Trails provided us with great bikes, a very efficient shuttle service and an informative and enjoyable commentary before we set out each day. Booking was easy. We have no trouble in highly recommending Top Trail Cycle Hire.

We really enjoyed our recent 2 day bike with your team. In our 70's and our first use of E bikes. They were great, well provided by Tipene and shuttles waiting for us as arranged. The journey was varied taking us into the lesser populated west coast plus the vintage train on the east coast. Highly recommended.
