PRICING STANDARD SHUTTLE BYO (Bring your own) bike

WEST COAST – Standard pick up time is 3 pm at Mangungu Mission in Horeke

EAST COAST –  Fri/ Sat & Sundays – The Scheduled Shuttle is Opua to Kaikohe with 3.30pm pick up – your bike included.   

Cycle to Taumarere station – 3kms past Kawakawa and meet the train there for a 2.25pm departure – we recommend that you depart Kawakawa by 1.50 pm to be sure you get to the station on time. Travel on the train with your bike for about 20 mins to Ake Ake station and then cycle on 4.5 km to Opua.

Marina Cafe is your pick-up point – 26 Baffin Street, Opua Marina.

• MEET THE TRAIN AT KAWAKAWA AT 1.50PM (COST$15 PP)

OR

• MEET AT TAUMARERE AT 2.20 PM FOR GOLD COIN DONATION TRANSFER TO AKE AKE (LONE COW) STATION.

STANDARD SHUTTLE PICK UP WILL BE THEN BE 3.30 pm  IN OPUA

If the train is not able to operate any day or it is a MON/TUES/WED/THURS – your pick up will be 3 pm in Kawakawa. If the train is delayed for any reason your shuttle will be aware of this. 

Standard time shuttle cost

• Adults – $75 pp 
• Children (14 and under) $45  pp

includes bike transport  

Full trail Shuttle from one Coast to the other Coast – Pick up timed with one standard pick up

• $155 pp Horeke to Kawakawa/Opua – OR vice versa – in one trip

SPECIAL SHUTTLE PRICES – SPECIAL TRIPS OUTSIDE STANDARD PICK UP TIMES

Half trail – Mangungu / Horeke – Kaikohe or Kawakawa/Opua to Kaikohe (or vice versa) – No set time

• $90 pp HALF Trail
• $45 

Full Trail – Coast to the other Coast – no set time

• $175 Horeke to Kawakawa/Opua in one trip
• $85 per child

SINGLE PERSON TRAVELLING – SPECIAL SHUTTLES OUTSIDE STANDARD PICK-UP TIMES Same as price above BUT – Price as 2 pax

Baggage transfers

• $100 minimum per half of the trail – up to 4 bags
• $10 per bag thereafter

Panniers – $10 per pannier
